Record circulation for the Nightcourses Guide

July will see the publication of Dublin’s favourite evening class directory, The 2009/2010 National Guide to Nightcourses, writes Learning Ireland Circulation Manager Aoife Murphy.

Over 1,100 bookstores, retailers and newsagents across the Dublin region, from Balbriggan to Bray, have already agreed to stock the Guide, which represents a record number of stores stacking any of the various evening class publications.

In addition, we have just put the finishing touches to an extensive marketing plan, which will see The 2009/2010 National Guide to Nightcourses advertised extensively on Dublin’s 98FM, 4FM, East Coast FM, Phantom FM, Dublin’s Country Mix 106.8, and in the magazines Hot Press and PC Live.

This unrivalled marketing plan, coupled with our decision to distribute a free copy of the Guide to every single attendee at Which Course 2009, Ireland’s biggest expo dedicated to part time education and training, will give The 2009/2010 National Guide to Nightcourses unprecedented exposure among 18 to 65 year olds in the Dublin area.

Even more readers will be acquired through Nightcoursesguide.ie, the recently established website that enables the public to read a digital online edition of the Guide, or download a pdf version for free. The site has proven to be extremely popular with visitor numbers increasing by 20% in the past year.

We anticipate that these actions will vastly increase our traditional circulation lead over the various other evening class publications released in the Dublin area.

Our belief has always been that strong investment in product and brand ultimately increases circulation, and we have seen this year after year since the inception of The National Guide to Nightcourses in 2001; but it is especially true in the current economic climate.
