Hi people,
I left school early but i wish to sit my leaving certificate. I am currently unemployed, and live in glasnevin in dublin, i am just wondering could someone direct me in the right direction to go about enrolling in a leaving certificate course which is close to my location, and free (if thats possible).
Any information you could share would be immensely appreciated
Thanks in advance
Dave

Re: Help about sitting the leaving certificate
Check out Colaiste Dhulaigh in Coolock. See www.colaistedhulaigh.ie/full-time-courses/vtos-btei/leaving-certificate-junior-certificate.php for details. Also Colaiste Ide in Finglas at www.colaisteide.ie/full-time-courses/adult-eduaction-day-school/index.html. The following website may also be of use www.studentfinance.ie. You are a mature student at 24 so you could also check out the Post-Leaving Cert courses that would be of interest to you in your area. Both the colleges mentioned have a great range of courses. You would be assessed on your motivation, interest, experience etc...not necessarily your lack of Leaving Cert.
